No Zumba Toning Monday May 13 and no Zumba Thursday May16, due to tech week for the spring show. There will be Zumba Saturday May 18.

This fundraiser for the BSD scholarship fund provides an evening of dance with pieces choreographed by friends and faculty of the BSD.

• Fridays May 17 and 24th at 7:30pm
• Saturdays May 18 and 25th at 7:30pm
• Sundays May 19th and 26th at 4:00pm

Tickets: $13 for adults, $11 for students and seniors

There are no Spring Term classes April 15th – April 21, EXCEPT for Jane’s classes which will be holding make-up classes next week. There will be Zumba classes Monda, Thursday and Saturday.

Current Brattleboro School of Dance students are invited to a student appreciation dance party this Friday, March 22nd from 6:30pm – 9:00pm. BSD will provide pizza and drinks if you RSVP at the front desk by Thursday March 21st at 8pm. Wear a costume, mask or something fun to do a Harlem Shake video featuring BSD dancers! Regular Spring Semester classes are on winter carnival break February 18th-February 24th. The following classes will be held as drop-in classes ($15), or with the use of your Zumba class card (for Zumba classes – make-ups may also be used for Zumba)

BSD students who have or are auditioning for the Spring show, make sure we have your most up-to-date conflicts. There are extra blank conflict lists hanging on the BSD bulletin board in the dressing room hallway. Ask a desk staff person to let you see the clipboard in the back office if you need to update your conflicts on that list.

The scholarship committee meets this week and all materials are due immediately at the studio. If you’d like to be considered for a scholarship, please have your application and the appropriate tax paperwork/supporting financial paperwork at the studio by the end of the day Monday, January 21st (8pm).

The spring 2013 semester of classes begins Monday January 14th and runs through Saturday May 12th with two vacation breaks, February18-24 and April 15-21, following the WSESU school systems breaks. Registration is the week preceding the start of spring classes – Monday, January 7th – Sunday, January 13th from 1pm – 6pm. Register by phone, in person, or online!

Friday, January 11th, Burklyn Ballet Theatre will be holding auditions for its summer intensive programs in Johnson, VT. The auditions will be at Brattleboro School of Dance at 4:30pm (Intermediate level) and 5:30pm (advanced level). For more information visit http://www.BurklynBallet.com.
