Brattleboro School of Dance is proud to be a dance partner of the Southern Vermont Dance Festival, coming to Brattleboro, Vermont, Thursday, July 17th through Sunday, July 20th. BSD Faculty Mucuy Bolles, Holly Johnson, and Jane LoMonaco will be teaching for the festival and BSD dancer Caitlin McCloskey-Meyer will be performing in the Friday 4pm Gala Concert at the Latchis Theater.
Mucuy Bolles is teaching a series of Advanced Ballet classes on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00pm, starting this Tuesday, July 15th and continuing July 22nd and July 29th. This challenging class is for advanced ballet dancers, and is independent of the summer semester. The series costs $36, or $15 for a drop-in. You can register in person this Tuesday, July 15th or by e-mailing email@example.com.
Brattleboro School of Dance is on summer break Monday, July 14th through Sunday, July 20th. During this time the Southern Vermont Dance Festival will be in residency. The following classes are the only classes which will be held this week.
Monday 6:30-7:45pm Advanced Beginning Modern Dance with Holly Johnson
Tuesday 3:30-5:00pm Advanced Ballet with Mucuy Bolles
Wednesday 4:30-5:30 Advanced Beginning Rhythm Tap with Robin Wolf

Mucuy will be holding an Intermediate Ballet drop-in class Saturday, 5/24, from 10:00am – 12:00pm. The cost for this class will be a reduced drop-in fee of $15.

Rachel Hebert will be teaching a 5-week long half-session of Intermediate Ballet. Classes begin Tuesday, 5/20, from 4:15-5:45pm, and will run through 6/17. The cost for this half-session is $60. Any questions may be directed to Alistair in the office, here.

- Summer Dance Intensives (ages 7 and up)- June 23rd – July 11th
- Creative Dance Camp (ages 4-7) – July 21st – 25th
- Hip Hop Camp (ages 7-11) – July 28th – August 1st
- Musical Theater Camp (ages 11 and up) – August 18th – 22nd

Monday, Children’s Hip Hop (3:45-4:45)- Cancelled 2/17. A make-up class has been scheduled for Monday, 5/12, from 3:45-5:15. This encompasses both the cancelled class on 2/17 and the missed time on 2/24.
Tuesday, All Classes- Due to the snow day 2/18, all Tuesday classes were cancelled. Students are granted a make-up class usable by themselves or a family member in any age-appropriate class.
Wednesday, Adv. Beg. Ballet (5:45-7:00)- Cancelled 2/19. A make-up class has been scheduled for 4/16, from 5:45-7:00. (This class was incorrectly referred to as “Beginning Ballet” on the website.)
Friday, Low Int. Ballet (9:00-10:30)- Cancelled 2/21. A make-up class has been scheduled for 4/18, from 9:00-10:30.
Friday, Children’s Ballet II (3:30-4:30)- Cancelled 2/21. A make-up class has been scheduled for 5/16, from 3:30-4:30.
All Brattleboro School of Dance classes on Friday, February 14th are cancelled due to the winter storm. Students will receive a make-up class to be used by the end of the semester or transferred to a family member for use this semester. Happy Valentine’s Day!
