Brattleboro School of Dance Junior Company Performs at BMAC
Adventures with Super Bee: Night at the Museum
Friday, April 5 at 5:30 p.m.

Adventures with Super Bee presents a magical evening of live dance performance, storytelling, and interactive creative play for the whole family during Brattleboro’s monthly Gallery Walk. Super Bee plays host and protagonist as she guides the audience on a harrowing adventure at the museum. Truth and fiction, real life and still life, sculpture and paint and collage go topsy turvy as the museum exhibits come to life. Help Super Bee save the day… and the art!

Enjoy original dance pieces by Flip & Fly Dance and Circus Company, Leaps & Bounds Kids’ Dance of SoBo Studio, the Junior Dance Company of Brattleboro School of Dance, Super Bee, and more. Stay to play and dance, explore the museum’s exhibits, partake in light refreshments, and learn more about local dance opportunities in Brattleboro.

The event is free and open to the public as part of Brattleboro’s monthly Gallery Walk on Friday, April 5. Doors open at 5:30, and the Super Bee show runs from 5:45 to 6:30. Super Bee will lead tiptoe mini tours for kids from 6:30 to 7:30. Reception and an open viewing of BMAC exhibits will be open until 8:30.

The event has been made possible with the support of Vermont Dance Alliance and the Vermont Community Foundation.

Community Performances

We love to share dance with others through community performances. The BSD Junior and Senior Companies and any class with a dance prepared may be invited to perform at a community event when the opportunity arises. In the past, BSD has performed at Gallery Walk, Strolling of the Heifers, the Wellness in Windham Health Fair, Brattleboro elementary schools, and in other informal settings. We are always looking for ways to be involved with the greater Brattleboro community and its exciting variety of cultural events. Please contact Bridget if you have a performance opportunity that may be a good fit for our students.
