Fall Scholarship Applications Due Sept. 1
Register in person at Brattleboro School of Dance, 22 High Street, on the 3rd Floor on Friday, September 4th (5-8pm) or Saturday, September 5th (10am – 2pm) and purchase dancewear items as well! Click here to find out more about the dress code.
Brattleboro School of Dance is proud to be a dance partner of the Southern Vermont Dance Festival, coming to Brattleboro, Vermont, Thursday, July 16th through Sunday, July 19th. For more information on the festival, please follow this link to their website.
Additionally, there are no BSD classes scheduled for the weekend. Summer classes start up again Monday, July 20th.

Due to instructor illness, the Tuesday 5:30 Embodyoga/Pilates class is cancelled this evening, July 7th. Jane will hold a make-up class at the end of the term in August on Tuesday, August 25th. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The repair of the Green Street Extension retaining wall has begun! As a result, Green Street Extension will be closed and no cars will have access. Pedestrians must proceed with extreme caution, and it is recommended that everyone entering the building use the front entrance and the stairs for the time being. Thank you.
In celebration of the national holiday, no classes will be held at Brattleboro School of Dance this Saturday, July 4th. Beginning Jazz and Intermediate Ballet will hold make-up classes on Saturday, August 15th. Enjoy the holiday!
Due to instructor absence, Zumba is cancelled this evening, June 22. It will return to its regular schedule this Saturday at 9am.
Holly’s Advanced Beginning Ballet class is cancelled for this Wednesday, May 27th, and will be starting June 3rd, instead. A make-up class is scheduled for July 15th at its usual time. Please be aware that this is during the summer vacation week.

Come see a fantastic group of students, faculty and alumni perform in the entertaining dance concert, City Lights. See a talented group of graduating seniors perform their solos on alternating nights in two programs…
Program A (Fri 5/22, Sun 5/24 and Sat 5/30) features solos by Magdalena Buettner, Samanatha Watson, Sophie Zimmerman and Caitlin Nordheim. It also features Michael DiFilippo and Susan Strom performing in the ballroom quickstep.
Program B (Sat 5/23, Fri 5/29 and Sun 5/31) features different solos by Phoebe Green, Sonya Marx and Tory Eichler. Felix Seidel and Nan Mann perform the quickstep.
It’s so fun you’ll want to see it twice! Purchase tickets online using the link below or stop by the Brattleboro Food Co-op Tuesday May 19th or Thursday May 21st from 4-6 pm to buy tickets in person. Even if online tickets are sold out there may be tickets available at the box office at NEYT which opens one hour prior to show time on each performance day!

The studio will be taking April 20th – 26th off for spring vacation. No classes are scheduled except for those listed below.

City Lights, A Dance performance featuring students, faculty and alums of Brattleboro School of Dance in a variety of dance styles and pieces, will perform at New England Youth Theater, 100 Flat Street, Brattleboro Vermont May 22nd through May 31st, 2015.
Fridays, May 22nd and May 29th at 7:30pm Saturdays, May 23rd and May 30th at 7:30pm Sundays, May 24th and May 31st at 4:00pm
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for Seniors and Children under 12. They are available at BSD on Saturdays from 11am-3pm as well as Friday May 1st from 5-7pm during Gallery Walk. You can also purchase tickets online using Brown Paper Tickets. Just click the “Tickets Available Now” link below.
