Auditions for Nutcracker are this Sunday at 2:30pm. Current students of Brattleboro School of Dance with ballet experience may audition for the performances December 20, 21, and 22. Arrive as early as 2pm to warm-up. Paper-work will be there for you to fill out and auditions will begin promptly at 3pm, starting with pointe auditions for dancers in pointe 2 or higher, followed by ballet auditions not on pointe around 3:20. Children, Teens and Adults in Ballet IV or higher should audition. Children in Ballet III or lower will be contacted about the party scene or clowns.

Sundays October 27th, November 3rd, and November 10th from 12pm to 3pm, Donlin Foreman will be teaching an amazing workshop series called Techniques For Performance.

This workshop series will help performers and choreographers alike to focus their work, enrich the emotional life of their creative process and provide tools to color their performances and choreographic pieces. Don’t miss this fantastic workshop series with former Martha Graham dancer Donlin Foreman.

Mucuy Bolles will be holding her Saturday Intermediate Ballet class on August 31st from 10:30-12:00 as a drop-in class. Drop-in class rate applies ($15)

Thursday 7:30am Multi-level Pilates (regular summer session class)

No Pilates, Zumba, Ballet or Theater Dance starting Thursday at 9am through Sunday.  The Southern Vermont Dance Festival will be in residency July 18-21.                              (No Monday pilates, No Tuesday tap either)

Holly Johnson will not be holding Monday Therapeutic Dance (5:30) or Wednesday Advanced Beginning Ballet (5:30).  There will be no Pilates, Summer Dance Intensive or Zumba on Thursday, July 4th as the school will be closed to celebrate Independence Day.  Happy 4th everyone!

Starting June 3rd, the Monday 6:45pm Zumba Toning Class will not be held during the summer months but will return in September.

June 4th, Mucuy Bolles begins Intermediate Modern Contemporary 4:30-6:00pm. This repertory class will explore such modern choreographers as Lar Lubovitch, Alvin Ailey, Elisa Monte, Robert Battle, Eliot Feld, Ulysses Dove, Judith Jamison and more. Come check it out next Tuesday!
