Friday, December 14th there will be two performances of “Selections From The Nutcracker” performed by the BSD dancers at the dance studio on the 3rd floor of 22 High Street in downtown Brattleboro. The shows are at 7:00 pm and 7:45 pm. Admission is by donation. Donations benefit the BSD scholarship program which provides tuition assistance to underserved families in the region.
There is also currently a silent auction running at the studio to raise funds for the Windham Regional Career Center Dance Program field trip to the Regional High School Dance Festival this March. Placing bids on such lovely items as princess costumes by Fantasy Wear, a shoulder bag from Altiplano and gift certificates from local merchants like Frankie’s Pizza, Windham Flowers and Amy’s Bakery will help send our High School dance students to Norfolk on March 6th. The silent auction closes Monday December 17th at 8:30pm, with the drawing occurring Tuesday morning December 18th.
Handicapped Access to the studio is through the rear entrance on Green Street Extension opposite the Shriner’s Club.
Dancers participating in the performance should arrive at the studio at 6pm.
